Bachelor of Computer Science (Cyber Security) with Honours

COURSE DESCRIPTION

The curriculum of this program is based on the 3u1i concept, designed so that students can master the knowledge and skills required by the industry while students are in university. The industry, on the other hand, helps in translating the curriculum into a more meaningful and significant learning experience with the latest equipment, complete facilities and skilled experts to deliver the curriculum more effectively when students are placed in industry.

The implementation method is that students will study for three (3) years on campus and one (1) year in industry. The first three (3) years will be used by students to study compulsory university courses, faculty core courses of 17 courses equivalent to 51 credits, and core programs of nine (9) courses (27 credits). Through these first three (3) years, students will be equipped with basic knowledge in the field of computer science as well as knowledge for the chosen field of specialization (Cyber Security). This program also allocates one (1) year from the study period for students to be in the industry in their final year of study. During the period, students will complete their Undergraduate Project (PSM) and 3 elective courses in the first six (6) months and Industrial Training (LI) in the second six (6) months in industry.
