Faculty of Computing will be hosting Graduate Employability and Industrial (GET-IT) program on Friday 13th January 2023. We are excited to invite all final year students that are going for internship to attend the program.

We will have:

- Booth by the Industry located at the FK lobby.

- Career talk by Huawei at 10-11 am located at DKU1.

- Interview session in the evening. (Please bring your CV).

This will be good opportunity for you to gain information on your future career as well as interact with the people from the industry.

We are looking forward to see you at GET-IT.

HYBRID METAHEURISTICS Applied Optimization on Search-based Software Engineering Problems

This course aims to introduce the Integrating Fuzzy Logic with meta/ hyperheuristics fundamental of metaheuristic algorithms. Likewise, it elaborates on different types of hybridisation for metaheuristic algorithms. More precisely, the course will also discuss a few optimisation case studies. Finally, if you are a researcher in optimisation, you will learn the hands-on application of meta/hyperheuristics for multi-task optimisation.

Target participants:
Industrial Practitioners, Research Students, Researchers.

Even experts in metaheuristic algorithms will find it helpful with advanced topics in hyperheuristics and multi-tasking optimisation. Codes will be based on Java / partly in C.
