Bachelor of Computer Science (Computer Systems & Networking) with Honours

BCS Computer Systems & Networking

COURSE DESCRIPTION

Computer network is increasingly becoming a necessity in everyday life, especially in the fast-paced industries leading the way to the Industrial Revolution 4.0. This programme is created to equip the students with the fundamental knowledge in computer network as well as the hands-on technical skills required for them to succeed in this field. The graduates of this programme will be able to design, create, operate and maintain network infrastructures for modern distributed computer systems. The students will also be graduating with an additional training certification form Cisco, a world-leading network equipment manufacturer and the de-facto certifier of network professionals. This programme offers all students the chance to work in a real-life environment, with access to world-class equipment inside the labs. Graduating from this programme prepares the students to work anywhere within the field on computer network, computer systems as well as in the general information and communication technology field.
