FK Visits to Huawei Malaysia

The Huawei Mobile Networks Technical Centre (MGTC) and the Customer Solution Integration and Innovation Experience Centre (CSIC) in Malaysia welcomed a group of 31 Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) students and seven UMP staff members for an official visit on 16 March 2023. The visit was led by Ts. Dr. Hoh Wei Siang from the Faculty of Computing, UMP.

The visit provided UMP students and staff with an opportunity to explore Huawei's latest 5G technologies, including radio access networks, core networks, and cloud services, at the MGTC in Cyberjaya. The students and staff also got to experience Huawei's latest products and solutions in various demo zones, including 5G, AI, cloud, and cybersecurity, at the CSIC, Kuala Lumpur.

During the visit, senior manager from Huawei Malaysia, Mrs. Sharifah Diana had shared insights into the latest developments in 5G technology and the company's commitment to fostering collaborations with local academia and industry. UMP students and staff also had the chance to interact with Huawei engineers and experts and learn more about the company's innovation-driven culture and talent development programs.
